Forget Sanchez – Wenger want to complete transfer for 28-goals hitman, talks already held with president

Report in Express claim, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly convince he can complete signing for France international striker Alexandre Lacazette.

Despite the brilliant start in the just concluded season, Arsenal still fail to qualify for the Champions League as they finish fifth on the Premier League table and it now looks Wenger want to sign some couple of quality players to reinforce his squad ahead of next season.

In the light of that, Arsenal has been linked with some couple of players; with Lacazette believe to be on his prime list.

The French manager has gone to meet with Lyon’s president Jean-Michael Aulas last week to try and reach an agreement to sign Lacazette.

The 26-year-old striker has made it known that he want to leave the Ligue one giant this term, and said Premier League is an ‘interesting’ prospect.

Even despite Arsenal fail to qualify for the Champions next season, Lacazette still fail to play down a move.

A report from The Sun thought that, Arsenal have stepped up their pursuit for the France international with a bid not too far from £50 million deal.

This will make Lacazette the club record signing, with Wenger also ready to spend huge in signing some quality players this summer transfer window.

Lacazette performance in recent time has been nothing short brilliant, netting 28 goals in 30 appearances this term and I personally think one striker unquestionable to improve the Gunners’ attack would be Aubameyang.

His pace, clever movement, brilliant technique and better-quality finishing would make him the perfect foil for Ozil’s vision in the final third.
