Almost Done:  Arsenal Sanctions £40m Move For Alexis Sanchez Replacement

Another winger has been identified to be on the radar of Arsenal after securing the signature of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon last week.

Report in English media claims that Monaco winger Thomas Lemar could be joining the North London club this summer.

The highly-rated winger/attacking midfielder has reportedly told the Ligue 1 defending champions he wants to join Arsenal.

The Sun Sport claims that a personal term in the region of £90,000-a-week has been agreed between the Gunners and the player’s representatives and what is left is for both clubs to agree on a transfer fee.

It thought that the Gunners have returned with a £40million bid for Lemar signature after their initial £30million offer was rejected.

Arsenal are on the verge of losing their top striker Alexis Sanchez, after the South American refused to commit his future with the club be rejecting a contract extension.

Sanchez, who has just a left on his contract with the Gunners, wants to reunite with his former boss Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.

Lemar was on scintillating form for Monaco last season scoring 14 goals while also creating 14 assists in 41 appearances.

However, the much in-demand winger is also being monitored by Manchester City and PSG.
