Confirmed: Conte want Chelsea to complete transfer for 20-goals hitman in 17 days

A report from Metro claim, Antonio Conte wants 20-goals Diego Costa to be sold before the start of this summer’s pre-season.

The Italian gaffer has been informed the Spain international via text message that there is no certain future for him with Chelsea, although the chances of the ace joining Atletico Madrid looks played down now, as the La Liga giant are now banned from signing any additional player until January.

But despite the claims, The news outlet still reckon that Conte  want him to leave Chelsea by the 3rd of July, which is just few weeks away from now.

A return to Atletico Madrid for Costa would mean that he won’t feature in single game for half of the season until the club can officially register him as their player on January 1, 2018.

A report from Metro via Marca on Wednesday claim that Atletico remain very interested in re-signing Costa and they have even make some arrangement for a special training programme for him in order to make sure he remain fit to be unable to play.

Since this report now seems true, Conte will have to set is gaze on another striker to come fill the void that will be left by Costa.

It was further reported that Ac Milan have also held talks over a possible move for the 28-year-old, so it yet to be see who will win the race to his signature.
