The youngster was also instrumental to England’s U17 run to the European Championships final where the team lost on penalties to Spain.

The Blues are known for low utilization of their young players and clubs had relied on that, wanting to snap him up but with the new development, they may have to wait for another 18 months to sign him
on loan, if any.

Chelsea are now aware of the need for their academy products to prove their prowess in a competitive environment, so a loan move could be on the cards for him  to garner more experience but that’s for the club’s technical director Michael Emenalo to decide.

He may follow the footstep of Tammy Abraham to Bristol City who became their top scorer, which resulted in Chelsea offering him a new five-year deal and another loan move to Swansea to have experience in the Premier League.
