Done deal: Arsenal complete signing of 21 goals goal-machine – Fans will like this

Arsenal Ladies have completed the signing of striker Vivianne Miedema from Bayern Munich for the 2017/2018 Women’s Super League season, according to report from the club official website.

The 20-year-old attacker spent three seasons at Bayern Munich, having joined them in 2014 and helped them to win the Bundesliga in 2014/2015 season, their first since 1976 and also in 2015/2016.

The Netherland international netted 14 goals in 22 games this season as her team finished second behind Wolfsburg in the Frauen Bundesliga and a total of 21 goals in 39 games.

Arsenal Ladies boss Pedro Martinez Losa said: “Vivianne is a huge signing for this club and is seen as one of the best young strikers in the world. “Attracting this level of talent to the club reflects our
ambition and we are very excited to have Vivianne on board with us from the start of the 2017/18 season.”

She became the youngest debutant in the Dutch Eredivisie Vrouwen league at the age of 15 where she featured for Heerenven for three seasons and won the league top scorer with 39 goals in her final
season at the club before moving to Bayern Munich.

She made her international debut in 2013 and she was part of the Netherland squad at the 2015 Women World Cup. She has scored 34 goals in 42 games for Holland and has been compared to Arjen Robben.
