The Gunners endured a disappointing campaign this season and their FA Cup triumph for a record 13th time and seventh for Arsene Wenger was their saving grace but the French boss is not getting carried away by that and is aware of the necessity to still overhaul the squad this summer to challenge for the Premier League season.

That being said, Wenger is ready to break the bank to bring one of the deadliest strikers in Europe to the Emirates stadium and the Gunners boss has identified Belotti as the man to add more firepower to the
team’s attack.

Chelsea’s boss Antonio Conte is also reported to be interested in the Italian striker and would want to sign the forward should the attempt to bring back Romelu Lukaku to Stamford Bridge from Everton fails.

Belotti has been in impressive form for Torino this season, scoring 27 goals and assisted another five across all competitions with 25 of those goals coming in the Serie A.

And with that stunning performance which made him the third highest scorer in the league, the Italian side would only part with their prized asset if a fee in the of £85 million is put forward for the 23-year-old.

With the continuous speculations surrounding Alexis Sanchez’s future at Arsenal, Belotti would be a perfect replacement for him.
